London was and has always been a weekly delivery area, orders for specials could be made up to Tuesday during the week and they would be delivered the next day.  This proved to be very popular with the London customer base and proved profitable for Manco.  During there third year in business local authorities were specifying more that they would only purchase cylinders that had the BS Kitemark.  Therefore Manco’s next big step was to pursue investigations in to this sought after Kitemark certification, so that they could continue to produce cylinders for the local authorities.  David took this onboard, wrote up the specification manuals and in 1992 Manco acquired accreditation to BS5750 (part 2) ISO 9002 / 1987.
